Damned Gigs
Over the next few pages is a list of all the dates
I played with The Damned, which is as comprehensive as I can make it. There may
be others that have slipped through the net, but I'm fairly confident this is
the lot. Although I first became involved with the band in late 1992, for
numerous reasons, we didn't play any dates until the end of 1993. This was, in
part, down to a lack of a singer and any new songs, but there were other delays
that stopped us from playing earlier. Whatever, we amused ourselves in other
ways until the touring started, particularly by rehearsing a lot. The first show
we did was as 'The Damagement', at the Dome in Tufnell Park. It was a 'secret'
gig that sold out. I thought we should have
appeared as 'The Domed', but no-one else did.

There was no great occasion
involved in these shows, just a quick blast around the country to preview
the new line up. It all went pretty well and sold well considering there was
no new product. Still, these were the first Damned shows in nearly eighteen
months, so no big surprise.
