Between 1985 and 1990 I
was the bass guitarist for New Model Army, starting out at the tender
age of seventeen, still living with my parents and having very little
idea about being in a band and touring the world. By the time I left the
band I was twenty-two, well-travelled and illegally sub-letting a
basement flat in North London, a far cry from those early days of
naivety and obnoxious teenage tendencies. New Model Army were a large
part of my formative years, and contributed enormously in making me the
person I am today, so don't blame me. I had some of the most memorable
and enjoyable experiences of my life, and some of the worst too. This
small section represents just a tiny sample of those experiences, and
features some music, photos and videos from those early days. More will
be added as time and copyright issues allow, but the content thus far is
a fairly safe bet.
